Avila Beach Sunrise Dec 16 2017 at 5:36pm EST While I stayed in Pismo Beach this particular week, the class itself was at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. I had to drive north to Avila Beach Road, then take that about 4 miles to get to a turn off. I then drove 7 miles over hills and valleys to get to the plant itself. This was the view my first morning going to work, looking out over Avila Beach towards Pismo Beach, which cannot be seen in this photo
