| Rant about annoying situation(s) that keep happening Rated "E" W/C 152 We, meaning hubby and I, have to be a dying breed. NO - we are a dying breed. We don't own a cell phone. Flip phone, iphone, G5, doo-hickey this or that. We don't own one. On purpose. We don't want one. We don't see the need for one. We have a landline that does just fine. It takes messages for us if we aren't home. But what if you break down on the road? people ask. Well, enough, even babies, have them now. Someone will let you use theirs. So - my rant is always about the things only people with cell phones can access, use, get a benefit from. QR codes - those annoy me. Coupons - why leave me out just because I cannot use a phone? Special promotions? Again? Why leave out a whole segment of the population? And one more thing, why do people on public assistance or homeless people get free phones? I'll sit down now.    |
