Just things that I think about now and then.

Thankful...beyond words, but here they are anyways.
To be honest, 2025 started out rocky, to say the least:

My mom had aortic valve replacement surgery, and my dad broke his hip. I can say now that 2025 is almost over, that they are both doing well, and still going strong. I am more grateful than I can say, and am blessed to still have my folks around. They live in Northern Michigan by Traverse City, and have about a foot or so of snow on the ground. I miss them, as I am in Texas, but I don't miss the snow that much anymore. It is pretty in a picture. LOL.

My oldest daughter struggled in school all of her life; she did graduate, and is now about a year shy of her Bach/Master's in Business Admin with emphasis on Human Resources. I couldn't be more proud of her.

My middle child is working at Leprino, which is a cheese factory. He is about to be hired in, it looks like, this coming week, after having been working through a temp agency.

My youngest daughter just got a job as an assistant manager in the school district where she works as a cafeteria worker. More responsibility to go with a pay bump. LOL.

My kids are a blessing to me, and I'm happy to say that I have a good relationship with all three. Another blessing for me.

Happy 4th Heavenly Christmas to my sister, Kathy. During the holidays, and also her Birthday, July 1st, is bittersweet, but I am glad that she is no longer in pain. I look forward to meeting her in Heaven one day.

I also hope to hear some news about my disability case this coming year. It is a long process, and I'm to the point that it doesn't matter the outcome anymore. I am hoping for good news, but not going to hold my breath. I'm at peace, either way.

I would like to find a church this year, now that we've settled in an area for a while. My faith is thin, and although I pray some, I'd like to have a real relationship with my Heavenly Father, rather than just a "long distance" relationship.

So anyway, this is a small summary what has gone on in 2025. I won't make any New Year's Resolutions, but I want to make some changes in my life - for the better.

Thanks for letting me chew on your ears a bit, and Happy Holidays to Everyone, whether they are celebrated or not. Peace and joy are wished for everyone the rest of this year and here is looking forward to 2026 and whatever it may hold. Level 60 coming up in June...*Shock2* *Crazy* *Hug1**Smile**Hug2*
