I did get some work done. The telly is off. I've also started on a piece for the Daily Flash Fiction competition due tomorrow. A friend gave me a pretty good prompt. Now to see if it works.

It got nice and warm here today. About 90°, bright sun. Now it's 77° and still twilight. This is the time of year the sun really gets going. Soon it will still be light at 10:30 PM. And then the sun will start to rise about 4:30 AM.

We have such a short growing season. 60 days. Some years more, a few years less. But usually you can be safe to plan on those 60 days. Not a lot of time to get your garden up and running. I have 5 tomato plants, 1 is looking bad. There are 2 winter squash. I planted 5 mounds of potatoes. There is one asparagus plant that came back from the Big Dig. We used to have 5 asparagus plants. But only 1 so far has come back.
