A New Beginning
A New Beginning

An innocent, he was writing a blog
when the thought came, he was really a frog,
in the mirror, he definitely looked a bit green,
his eyes bulged larger than ever seen.

A new start was what he needed;
self-identified as frog, on flies that he feeded
and so the main course he satisfied,
or so he said and I don’t think he lied.

He proceeded to bound from town to town,
at the high jump he always won the crown,
he jumped in the rivers and swam like a newt
it’s all in the papers, you cannot refute.

But to a sad end he came at last,
sadder than all the tales of the past,
it’s all true and I tell you no joke,
he croaked.
