The most annoying thing about your town/area

The most annoying thing to me about my town and the outlying areas is the amount of 'stuff' people leave lying about in their yards. Tires, bottles and cans, mattresses, garbage bags, toys, old cars, old lawnmowers, multiple RVs, boats. You name it, it's in the yard. There is one person employed by the city that is to police the rules, and he only works 4 hours a day. So unless you complain, it never gets addressed. It can look like the town junkyard in places. Ugly.

We take care to make sure our house looks neat and tidy outside. We mow the grass, we don't have a ton of junk lurking around.

So I guess you cannot make others be responsible. You can only police yourself.
