Genie In A Bottle For Merit Badge Projects Genie Badge
Prompt: Shopping in a thrift shop, you buy a lamp with a genie in it. What happens?

I bought a purple and lavender bottle. Reminded me of I Dream Of Jeannie. Would she come out of this bottle? I rubbed it and I was goofing off. Imagine my surprise when a Genie appeared! He was all blue and seven feet tall. He was dressed in purple. I did a double take. His colors clashed together. He promised to grant me three wishes. What did I want? I asked for world peace. He told me he could make prices go down, stock market go up but he couldn't make the whole world at peace. I told him I would accept this.

I asked him about people not getting sick anymore. He said he would help people feel better and go to the Doctor less but he couldn't cure all the illnesses in the world.

My last wish? Half a million dollars. Guess what? He gave me that. The Genie disappeared and I put the bottle on my book shelf. The economy was better. People still got sick but life was better. What did I do with my money? I gave a lot to animal shelters. Animal abuse no longer existed. I got to go to England, see my son in Oregon and my sister in Florida. Why did I only ask for half a million? The Genie was only granting half my wishes. Half was better then none. Money. I had a lot, I would donate to my Church, family, friends and all the organizations who needed money.

If I find a lavender bottle and a Genie, I will let you know!
