My daily life/thoughts in a nut shell! |
Well I had a blog started but my silly self deleted it! I want to first apologize for being away for a bit. My work has kept me busy due to a recent corporate inspection. Good news my store is clean and we scored 94 but this is not why I'm writing this blog. Recently I received a not-so-pleasant review of the story I've been working on, which shattered my confidence. I was told that my main characters have too many problems for them to notice each other. At first, I thought why is that a problem wouldn't they use it to build up their relationship by finding comfort in each other. But I realized the person meant that they have to much going on to notice each other in general. This made me think of the past dramas and shows I've watched. Along with the experiences I've had dealing with mental health. So to that reader a little note: Dear reader, I understand where your criticism came from. However, we mask our problems in life and put on and a fake smile to hide our pain and sadness. This is how we maintain a social life and friends. We can't avoid looking at people and noticing people because well its human nature. When you find your true love you want to confide in them, you want to protect them , you want their burdens to be your own even if you have your own. My character's problems are actually tied in together that's part of the plot! Thanks! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I think my next few blogs I might spend with introducing my characters a bit more helping you guys understand who they are and what they look like! With that being said I am going to go try to find some inspiration for this third chapter. You guys have some awesome fun! |
