What an artist is

They make art, record music, perform poetry, take part in poetry slam competitions... and write books.

We are talking about artists. The people who bring creativity into our everyday lives, whether listening to an audio book in the car, visiting an art gallery, reading a book or singing in the shower.

Not all artists do these things for a living; some do them as a hobby. These are particularly tough and brave, as it requires a lot of stamina.

The term artist is just a generic term for musicians, writers, painters, poets, cabaret artists and pop stars.

There are many different types of artists on WdC, and they make the platform shine with their brightness, creativity, boundless enthusiasm for what they do, and mutual feedback.
