About This Newsletter "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version "The first principle of Bahá’u’lláh is: The Search for Truth Man must cut himself free from all prejudice and from the result of his own imagination, so that he may be able to search for truth unhindered. Truth is one in all religions, and by means of it the unity of the world can be realized." 'Abdu'l-Baha Paris Talks Letter From the Editor Asking questions is important to our learning process. This is true spiritually, scientifically, and securaly. If we do not or are afraid to ask questions, we will not gain knowledge, because knowledge comes with the answers to our questions. Can asking questions help build our faith? Yes, if we ask the right questions and find the answers ourselves. When God created the human race, He gave us minds so that we could use them to find the answers to our most important questions. When we accept, without question, what someone else tells us or we read on the internet, we are not using our minds in the way they were intended. As writers, we are taught to ask six questions: Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How. We use these questions to help guide our plots and character development. We can just as easily use these questions to help us in our spiritual quest. True, we have to expand the questions to help us in our quest, but we can do this. When we are asking questions, we have to put aside our prejudices and preconceived ideas. This is difficult to do. However, it is possible. We have to be persistent and learn to question our personal opinions and learned prejudices. Truth is out there, we just have to look for it for ourselves. While we are on the subject of questions, do you have any questions you would like to ask me? I will do my best to answer them. Editors Picks
