The K Dramas Strong Girl are two related Korean television series that feature women with superhuman strength. The first one is Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, which aired in 2017 and starred Park Bo-young, Park Hyung-sik, and Ji Soo. The second one is Strong Girl Namsoon, which is a spin-off of the first series and premiered in 2023. It stars Lee You Mi, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook as three generations of women who use their strength to fight crime in Gangnam.
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is a romantic comedy that follows Do Bong Soon, a young woman who was born with superhuman strength that is passed down only to the females in her family. She works as a bodyguard for Ahn Min Hyuk, a wealthy CEO of a gaming company who has a crush on her. She also has a long-time crush on In Guk Doo, a police officer who is unaware of her feelings and her powers. She gets involved in a series of kidnapping cases that happen in her neighborhood and tries to catch the culprit with the help of Min Hyuk and Guk Doo.
Strong Girl Namsoon is an action comedy that focuses on Kang Nam Soon, a woman who also has superhuman strength and went missing as a child in Mongolia. She returns to Seoul as an adult to find her parents and meets her mother Hwang Geum Joo, who is a rich resident of Gangnam. Her grandmother Gil Joong Gan also has the same power as them. The three women team up with Detective Kang Hee Shik, who falls in love with Nam Soon, to investigate drug-related crimes that occur in Gangnam.
