The theme of the first ever Upgraded Members' contest was
"Writing & the Web". Entrants were asked to write a feature
article of 2,000 words or less based on the following paragraph:

How has the web affected you and your writing? Has it opened
new doors for you? Spurred some new imagination? Run with this
topic, we are excited to see what you all come up with!

We received over two dozen contest entries and the judges did not
