Kuro and Butters
**This was a dare and features gay love

"Watch the starboard side!! Watch it-Watch-Watttch AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Drowned a
scream as the malignant waves thundered against the cruise ship, sky pouring cold rain
mercilessly.

"Kuro this way!!" Butters shouted, cupping his mouth with his hands in an effort to be heard.
His poring hat drooped sadly on his head, pounded by the incessant pour of rain. "Kuro!! Watch
out!! The mast! The mast!!!" Butters yelled himself hoarse, his pink monk suit flapping uselessly
against the rain bleached wind.

Kuro wandered the abandonned deck aimlessly, half-blinded by the fog and the churning sea. His
tuxedo hung in loose straps around him, flapping helplessly to the screeching winds. If only
he had kept his armor on...!

"Kuro--The --the mast!!" Butters dived forward, effectively tipping Kuro off his balance and out
of the way. Horror grasped Kuro's eyes as in sudden awakening he saw the mast hurling down onto
Butters, exactly where he had been just seconds ago.

"BUTTERRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!" Kuro screamed in defeat, the cold and icy sea water drowning him,
slowly...and surely...

--

"Mm...murr..arrgh?!" Kuro sputtered violently, expelling the foul tasting sea water from his
mouth. With a frightened gaze he took in the loose piece of plank he was hanging onto barely
and realized he was alive. Tears came flooding to his eyes before sea water slapped him hard
on the face. A sickening flash ran through his head and he squeezed his eyes shut before a
picture of Butters drowning somewhere unknown to him floated in and out of sight.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" He raged as he thrashed at the water like a confused child before he spotted a
bit of pink cloth at the edge of a large plank just South of him. Waving his arms and legs
in a dogged fashion he managed to identify a breathing Butters and took in a deep breath.
Breathing out slowly, but determindedly, he grasped the plank carrying Butters and then his own.
He began his swim to nearest shore.

"Some luck we have eh..." Kuro muttered to himself as he barely managed to drag himself across
the sandy beach. Sand clung to him, his shoes, his socks, his legs, his pants, his hands, his
arms, his nose, his mouth, his chin, his throat....So much sand...so much.....so...
Darkness consumed his consciousness whole and scuttled away.

"Shelter..." mumbled Kuro as a raindrop hit his nose dead center. His eyes wandered the stupid
shore as he fought the blackness threatening to drag him in again. Cold chill ran down his
spine...He had to find them shelter...shel..oohh...a cave...

The Sun was saying its partings as Kuro managed to drag his exhausted legs and Butters into
the mouth of the cave. For the first time, he noticed dried blood spots staining Butters's
tattered pink suit. He grabbed a skull, paying no mind to what it was and brought in some
rain water before he carefully undressed Butters-or rather, lifted the ragged remnants of clothes
off his body. With the precious rain water Kuro massaged the bruised muscles and tended to the
bloody wounds. He forgot his own pain and the torturous pang in his stomach that rang of hunger.
Butters needed him now.

Kuro squeezed rain water out of his sleeves before tearing them to strips. Gently he bound
the wounds with the strips and ended each with a graceful knot. Something spurred him with
energy from nowhere. Something inside him kept saying good job. Something inside him burned
without cease. Something, warm.

"Mmm..m..mmm.." Kuro jerked to barely audible moans as Butters's eye lids flickered open. It was
all Kuro could do but stare into those eyes...So beautiful and so clear...The gentle burning
flared up inside him to something he couldn't control....He was so close to Butters now....
He could feel Butters's chest moving...up...and down...slowly..rhythmically..up ...and down...

"Kuro..." Butters croaked and Kuro looked deeper into his eyes. "Kuro..." Butters croaked again
and Kuro laid a gentle hand on Butters's sand burned cheek. "Kuro..." was the last Kuro heard
before they were so close...the soft touch of lips...and the slow burning of their hearts...
