Plains Perspective

These roads run parallel; they never cross.
and no one drives twixt highways 36 and 34
unless one takes odd numbers north and south.
Like fire and water they do not bide each other's touch.
It's steam or douse across these flat high plains
where short grass reigns, when comes the rain.
No buffalo roam this pavement piercing East and West;
perhaps they meet at mountain's edge in Colorado.

In fact, U.S. Hwys 34 and 36 do meet northwest of Boulder, CO.

I'm feeling okay; just no energy. It's 50º and cloudy, but the weather isn't bothering me. Bored and anxiety is rising.

Note how some words don't work well (lyke equyvalent, allyteratyon and pyece) and avoyd those. Or just wryte a poem wyth extra "y"s yn the tytle. Ynclude v and w for syght and sound; f, b, p and m are also useful as the lyps are used, use r, u, o yf rounded.
