I'm Lost

One day, Priscilla Penguin decided to go for a walk.
She waddled into the kitchen.
"Mom, I'm going for a walk" she told her mother.
Her mother wash washing the dishes in a sink full of soapy suds."Okay," she warned. " but don't go past Mr. Tux's house or you will get lost."
"I won't," said Priscilla.
She grabbed a box of Gold Fish in case she got hungry and headed out.

Priscilla saw her father chopping a block of ice by the snow bank.
"Hey Dad," she called.
"Good morning Priscilla," he smiled at her.
"I am going for a walk today," Priscilla said rocking back and forth on her heels.
"Okay, her father warned, "but don't go past Mr. Tux's house or you wil get lost."
"I won't," said Priscilla.

Priscilla walked past Mrs. White's house with all the pretty ice statues in her front yard.
"Good morning Mrs. White," Priscilla waved.
"Good morning Prisclla. Are you going to Tipsy's house today?" Mrs. White asked from her icy garden.
"No, I am going for a walk today," Priscilla announced.
"Okay," Mrs. White warned, "but don't go past Mr. Tux's house or you will get lost."
"I won't," sighed Priscilla.

Priscilla walked past Mr. Harvey's Fish Emporium, Mr. Boulder's Rock Slide and rounded the corner at the Artic Pool. There was Mr. Tux's house, right on the corner. It was a round white igloo with smoke rising from a hole in the top.

As Priscilla got closer she heard a strange sound. It sounded like a cry for help. Priscilla knew she should turn around but what if someone was hurt. She decided to walk just a little bit further and see if she could find out who was making the sound.

Well, after passing Mr. Tux's house Priscilla rembered what her mother said about getting lost. She turned around and looked and she could still see Mr. Tux's house standing at a distance. She called out,"Who's there?"
A tiny voice called back,"Over here!"
Priscilla inched her way closer and then she saw...

...Mr. Tux! He was lying at the bottom of a not-so-steep hill.
"Mr Tux, are you alright?" asked Priscilla.
"I'm Lost!" he cried."I wandered out to catch Mr. MIttens my cat, and I fell. As I was rolling, my glasses fell off and I can't see a thing! Can you help me?"
"Sure I can!" said Priscilla proudly.

She found Mr. Tux's glasses and Mr. Mittens wrapped around them and helped Mr. Tux back to his cozy little igloo.
Mr Tux was so grateful that he gave her a nice warm cup of salmon tea and sent her on her way home.
"Thanks Mr Tux.And remember, don't go past your front yard or you'll get lost!"
Priscilla smiled all the way home.
