"Embrace Madness"

Two posts in one day - the madness! Bizarre as it is I couldn't go to bed without posting the perfect poem for the perfect mood. I found this while trying to write a poem of my own in my notebook. Gotta love the irony.

Slightly eccentric is she, if they only knew
The real me I share with a chosen few

Madness and enlightenment where my secret soul resides
Which reality to follow each moment must decide

I must live in this world and what can be seen
But in my spirit I follow other dreams

If this world is sane I choose in gladness
My secret thoughts and embrace my madness
