Prompt: Are you a sports fan?

No, I am not a sports fan. I don't get football. A bunch of grown men fighting over a pig skin. They bump into each other, get injuries and all are dirty. This is fun? Not to me. Baseball. Men hitting a ball with a bat and running for bases while being chased by a man who gets the ball. They scratch themselves and chew tobacco, chew tobacco chew tobacco, spit! I stoled that line from Blake Shelton's song. Basketball. I loved basketball in high school but I don't now. We have grown men fighting over a ball and bouncing it down the floor and trying to throw it in a net. Hockey. Are you kidding me? Grown men on ice fighting over a hockey puck, falling on the ice and beating each other up. I am not impressed. Golf. Can that game getting any slower? The ball will go where it wants and a squirrel will chase it and mistake it for a nut. I don't get it.

Do I like any sports? Yes, I do. Nascar. I love Nascar. These men work hard driving cars and are brave. They are the best drivers in the world. I love to watch the cars go around the track. This is the biggest thrill. The noise, the action and there are some handsome men behind the wheel. I love to watch rodeos but I cheer for the bull to buck him off. I don't want anyone to get hurt but I admire the bulls. What did they do to deserve that? Poker. I love watching men play Poker on TV. They are real good card sharks. Ice skating. I love to watch ice skating. The dancers glide around the ice and the music plays. This is beauty and a work of art.

I hope I don't make any enemies out of this but I did the prompt. My husband only likes Nascar. His thing is tractors but that is a story in itself.
