Prompt: Write about the freedoms we have and is freedom still a symbol?

I had to think about this. We have freedom of speech but how many times do people get in trouble over this? I wanted to be a journalist but news upsets me and I don't like to say mean things about people and people who do terrible things, I wouldn't be able to get views to myself. We have the freedom to have more then then one child but some people don't deserve them. We have the right to a trial if we did a crime. I am not sure if this is fair and just but I have no ideas for another solution. The right to bear arms. How many shootings happen all the time? Only policemen and military should be allowed to carry arms but there would be a way to obtain guns illegally and there already is.

There should be a cheaper way to buy insurance. We have the right to medical care but if one has no insurance, not anymore. At least we aren't slaves. America is a free country and we aren't under communism so that is freedom. This is all I can think of.
