Cell Phone Conversation, Being Polite

Welcome To My Reality Prompt: Tel us about a conversation you over heard today. Was the person talking on their cell phone?

People talk on their cell phones at WalMart. I heard the woman say: "Be sure and feed the dog. I am in the ice cream section. What flavors do you want?" Someone is sitting on the toilet talking on their cell phone. A Prom was mentioned and someone being pregnant. I will stay in the stall until the person has left. People don't care who hears their conversations, I guess. At work, I will call my husband and go to a place where no one is around.

Welcome To My Reality Prompt: When a person says: "Hi, How are you?" Do they mean it or are they just being polite?

If it is a friend, If someone I don't like, asks me these questions, it is like go away. I know they care. Cashiers and Clerks are doing their job but the stores that I go to a lot, I know that they mean it. The one lady at the Gas Station I go to, says she likes my purse or jewelry I wear. I don't know their names but they are nice and I like talking to them when they aren't busy. Strangers can be nicer then friends.
