Hardest Thing About My Job

Prompt: What is the hardest thing about your job?

Staying over to pass 7:00 AM Meds. I work midnights and my eight hours are over and if someone calls in, I have to stay do and do the 7:00 AM Meds. I pass out Men's Meds. and there are all over 20 men who get Meds. and some get as many as 14 a piece! This takes awhile. It shouldn't be the midnight's person's problem. I already passed out 5:00 AM Meds to the women and there are 16 to pass. This does get trying.

Cutting our sick hours in half. This isn't very fair. Employees earn these.

My mentally ill people are up all night dreaming of pills they want and reasons to be up and hang around the Med. Room door. The Midnight shift has chores they have to get done. If you don't feel good sometimes, this isn't pleasant, either.

These are the hard things about my job.
