Robert Frost Quote
Prompt: Robert Frost said: "No tears in the writer. No tears in the reader. No surprise in the writer. No surprise in the reader." Do you agree with this quote?
I cry when I write sometimes. I would to surprise myself like I change the ending or change the middle of the story. I like for my readers to be surprised and if it brings them to tears, I know I did a good job. As a reader? I cry over books. I cry more over TV Shows and movies because I see the action. Why would Robert Frost think people don't cry when they write or read stories? If you don't write a surprise or two, you and your story could end being Boring! I think Robert Frost needed to lighten up a little bit. No one likes a Sour Puss. I think the quote should read: "Tears and surprises go hand in hand with the writer and the reader."
