Favorite Christmas Story

Prompt: What is your favorite Christmas story to tell on Christmas Eve?

My family and I tell their own stories. Dad tells war stories of when he was in Viet Nam. I try to go for cheery ones. Dad did tell a story of how his brother put lights o the outhouse at Christmas time. My aunt said her mother made her clothes for a doll that had no head. Grandma says the doll did have a head. One year, I had a male friend dress up like Santa and come see my son when he was three years old and bring him a gift.

There were reindeer at the Pine Tree Farm next to us and I would go see them every year. Sadly, they died.

Some stories my family tell aren't related to Christmas. Like there was a wolf years ago that watched my Grandfather in the field with his horse and plow but it didn't bother him.

This is just some stories we have. Guess we all have our Christmas tales.
