New Years Day Food

Prompt: Do you have a special or traditional food that you serve on New Years Day?

Mom makes black eyed peas but they taste terrible so I don't eat them. I don't believe that they bring you good luck all year. Mom started making corn maze or is it corn casserole? Anyway, it is good. Mom makes a ham dinner and peanut butter pie for dessert. That is always good. We use to have turkey but turkey for Christmas and New Years is too close together.

On New Years Eve, we have shrimp cocktails{uncooked shrimp and sauce}, Pizza Hut Pizza and Cinnamon Rolls. We used to have cheese cubes, chips, dips and lunch meat but we changed the menu a few years back. I guess this New Years Eve and Day's menus will stay with us and be our tradition.
