I remember this song when I was ten years old. I wore Go Go Boots and this song is perfect for me strutting around in my cute white boots. These boots were a must for any teen-age girl or younger. I wore my Go Go Boots so much that I went through two pairs. As quick as they were a new fad, it died and something else takes it's place. I wanted to be on Hullabalo and Shigdig and dance in a cage back the. I was only ten years old. I loved this song and there were a couple of people that I wanted my boots to walk on.

Nancy was a pretty young woman and went on to sing songs with Lee Hazelwood and I loved their songs. There was a video about boots made for walking and the boots walked by themselves at the end of the video. It was really cute. My Go Go Boots never walked by themselves. Sadly, the heels wore down and they wore out. Nancy's song will always remind me of my Go Go Boots. Now, I wear winter boots or ugh boots as my one friend calls them. Sadly, they aren't as fun as Go Go Boots. I always have a memories.
