This blog will highlight insights from my odd and somewhat weird life.

Day 16; Unique v. Traditional.
I saw a local newspaper ad today for a shop named: The Broom Closet, it's described as a witchcraft supply store. I've never heard of such a shop before, and I'm intrigued.

Prompt for February 16, 2015: Would you go visit such a shop? Why or why not. - Bonus Question: Do you know of, or have an idea for a unique, or trendy shop?

When addressing this blog: Should I be honest? Should I be true? Okay….

Honestly, I might go to a spells and potions store if I were hallucinating or not in the right mind and with a group of people so that there was a very good chance that I would not be seen in a witchcraft store. In my right mind or by myself? Not a chance. Karma is a bitch. Go in stores like that, the angels fly away and might not come back. I need my guardian angels. (I need more than one because I overtax the one.)

People in my area do not support unique and trendy. We had a store called Famous Labels. Gone. Too much shoplifting and not enough patrons. Opitz. Gone. Too much shoplifting and not enough patrons. (Both were high end clothes sold at discount prices.) There was a store that sold only cat things and one that sold only goth clothes. I can’t remember the name of either because they lasted that long.

So the moral of this story? If you want to open a unique or trendy stores, do your homework. As the realtors say, location, location, location. If you want to go to the Broom Closet, the trendy bar is right next door.
