I Woke Up In Love This Morning By: David Cassidy, The Partridge Family

We know The Partridge Family didn't really sing except for David Cassidy and his stepmother Shirley Jones. I always loved The Partridge Family except for Danny. He was annoying. I had a crush on David Cassidy and in my high school years, I was hoping David Cassidy would come along. I joined The Partridge Family Fan Club and had David's pictures on my wall and now I have some on the computer of him.

I loved all The Partridge Family songs along with the ones David Cassidy sang. "I Woke Up In Love This Morning" happened to me with a few guys I went out and this is why this song has special meaning to me. The song had a nice beat and words you took to heart when you had a crush on someone. Having a crush on David Cassidy, I wished that he singing it to me. I would love to say I knew David and met him personally but only in my dreams. It was fun to watch old episodes of The Partridge Family and listen to their songs. I guess they were David Cassidy's songs. I treasure these memories.
