Summer Word Prompt
Prompt: Use these words in a story or poem. Gift, Acquit, Great, Summer, Flute, Swindle, Screech, Allow.

I went into the woods to collect my thoughts.
I thought I heard a fairy playing a flute.
The man who swindled me out of my
money had just been acquitted!

Why would the court allow this?
I was getting ready to leave when
I saw the acquitted man carrying a
bag of money! My money I bet!

I hid behind a tree and watched him.
A white owl was screeching and flying
around and knocked the man down.
The man fell and was unconscious.

I grabbed the bag and counted the money.
The exact amount he swindled from me.
I took the bag, ran home and hid it in the
basement in a safe behind a hidden wall.

What a gift for me. It was my inheritance money
that I bought a house by the lake with this money.
My cottage I had was already nice. Suddenly,
life was great again. The man? He was never seen again.
