U30BC: Soapbox Heros

How do you feel about musicians who take direct political stances? Are you supportive of an artist's right to speak his or her mind about particular topics, even if you disagree with them, or would you rather they "shut up and play the hits"?





I am a hypocrit... sorta. I want to the freedom to say what I want, but I don't want the artist's to speak out on topics directly related to religion or politics. Any other topic is fine. Any time Atheists and pseudo politicians get on their soapbox, i just want to kick it out from under them. I really don't care if people have different beliefs than me, just quit ramming it down my throat and thinking they are better than me just because fame gave them a pedestal.
