Just Another Manic Monday
Just when I thought things were going well … the shit hits the fan.

Beautiful 4th of July weekend. I mean a parade, playtime with friends, test results are where I want them … seriously MY GAME IS ON!

Then I get to my job. I am thinking, just have to get into the groove and all will be well. WRONG!

I start printing out all the emails and notice nothing is printing because the thing is off line. Why? I now have to move my carcass from my desk and walk all the way back to the copy room to find out what button I have to push to make everything go. Holy rain storm, Batman, the printer/scanner/fax/copier all in one has water all over! I kicked it into high gear to get everything dried off and get it operational, but it is toast.

The rain found a river from outside to the light unit over the copy machine. It rained hard and heavy, so those drops were plopping so hard that when they hit the hard plastic of the copy machine and then splash up about two inches.

Now I have to do my job without a scanner, without a copier, without a fax. I have a puny backup printer, but I am so in need of those other three features. I mean, I am a pioneer woman and can be innovative, but the one thing I am not is a repair tech. Give me an “on” button and I am good. If I have to figure out what to do when the “On” button takes a vacation, no can do.

So appropriate that this is Monday.
