Day 22-Tower Falls, Yancy's Hole, Petrified Trees

Prompt: We are going to Tower Falls, see petrified trees on Specimen Ridge, Calcite Springs. We are going to work on a Buffalo Ranch and watch park rangers tag bison and help clean up at this ranch due to a storm. We are riding horses out to Yancy's Hole. We are getting a wagon train dinner of western beef steak, Roosevelt's Baked Beans, potato salad, cornbread muffins and fruit crisp.

Petrified trees? Who or what scared them? I had to say that. The water springs are nice at Calcite Springs. I like being at the Buffalo Ranch. I helped tagged a couple of bison and petted a baby. One bison was crabby but I talked to her and she calmed down. I have a way with animals. We helped pick up fence pieces, refilled water troughs and a dog who lives at the ranch wanted me to try a ball for him. I did. The Park Rangers were nice and answered questions we had about bison. The one woman was Native American that worked there and we talked quite awhile. She loves the buffalo.

Yancy's Hole. It was a good ride. The horse was calm and gentle. I enjoy seeing all the forest land. This area of Wyoming is like a country or state all by itself. I passed on steak. I don't eat much cow. Roosevelt's Baked Beans were good. I bought some chips along from the lodge and used the beans as dip. I like the potato salad and I had a Diet Pepsi with me. I bought a fiber bar with me. I don't care for muffins and fruit crisp. We sang western songs. I think we sang every Johnny Cash song ever recorded. It was a good day and night.
