13 Days Of Halloween Day 6

Prompt: Write a story or poem choosing a handle from The Witch's Garden. Use these words: Summer, Salad, Empty, Frankenstein, Spider

The Bride Of Writingstein lived in a spooky old castle.
As you might guess, she was married to Frankenstein.
She loved to eat salad and pumpkin pie.
She wasn't really happy. She was smart and her husband wasn't.

Her life was so empty. She wrote poems
and colored in adult coloring books. Like Frankenstein, she
was man made. She was able to function better then her mate.
The Bride Of Writingstein took up watching soap operas. One day,
a handsome insurance man came to the castle. Her eyes lit up.

She bought some insurance and the man kept coming to the castle.
She was tired of killing spiders, they were always
in her way. The insurance man offered her a better life and one
day she left Transylvania and just left Frank a Dear John letter.

Frankenstein just didn't get it. He spent
all his time with Igor and the mad scientist. At least she wouldn't
kill his spider friends anymore. As for the bride,
she now lives in Washington State and is a well known novelist.
