Favorite Lady Journalist

Prompt: Lynn asked us who our lady journalist is and how do we respond to her views? Lynn asked how we deal of jealousy towards other writers.

Katie Curry and Jane Pauley are my favorite lady journalists. They seem sincere about their job and I don't know how they can keep their views to themselves. They smile, never look tired and seem to love their jobs. The hours are long and they are busy looking for stories and reporting them. They don't goof on their reports and they make it seem like a rewarding job. I wanted to be a journalist when I was in college for two years but people told me I would never make it. It is too hard. I got an Associate Of Arts Degree towards Journalism. I have two published books and I write here. I got a nursing job. Nurses are a dime a dozen. I am too old to be a reporter. I was in high school and even got a plaque. So this is my claim to fame. I admire Jane Pauley and Katie Curry.

I am jealous of Danielle Steel, Stephanie Myer, Jane Austen, Amanda Ashley and this new writer Kristen Painter I found. I wish I could write a novel every three months like Danielle does. Jane. I wish I had wrote "Pride and Prejudice" and Darcy. Amanda Ashley and Kristie Painter write paranormal romances and I want to write those. Stephanie Myer. She wrote "Twilight." You know how I am into "Twilight." I am jealous of these women but I love and admire their works. I just keep writing. Maybe I will find an editor for my vampire novel someday. I will never be famous. I was jealous of people who were happily married and had their own houses. I got these things later. I have everything a woman could want. Not a million dollars but my husband and I do okay. I have learned not to be jealous. With health issues, life is too short and I want to make the best of my life. I keep writing. I work in mental health and writing keeps me sane for now. Hope it always will. I am glad I love the writers I do and for a lot of people at WDC I have met. We are great writers ourselves.
