To Honor My Friend Old Warrior
Oldwarrior has passed on. I am so heartbroken. I loved this man and he was a military man like my father. We used to write each other e-mails and review each other's work. We never met in real life but internet friends are beautiful and he was.
This tells how sergeants and commanders differ in ranks. My father was a sergeant and Old Warrior told me all men in the military are special no matter their rank and position. Dad was a flight engineer on gunships in Viet Nam. Old Warrior. I loved seeing his picture of him in uniform. He was a handsome man and I know he was rough but gentle. He called me his Princess and he was so glad to get a review from me as I was him. I never got around to reviewing the rest of his last novel and I read and did 3 reviews. I will miss him. I know he got a 21 gun salute. He deserved it. I cry when I read he died today and I will shed tears and remember him fondly. I read some of his other war stories. He and the men in the military are so brave. I mentioned my father. I thought of Old Warrior as a father. Why didn't I tell him that? I read his war stories and I was sad but admired him and all the other men who served. I will remember him on Veterans Day and say a prayer for him. I loved him. I salute him. I know I will see him in Heaven someday. He was beautiful. Here is a hug for you.
