| Entry for "Invalid Item" Day 1 Prompt - "I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." ~ Mark Twain Using this quote as inspiration, write a letter for the funeral of a fictional character. It can be serious, morbid, or hilarious. This is your choice. However, the funeral must take place on Halloween. Dear Smith Family, I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there for Joe’s Halloween funeral, but I’m quite busy preparing for the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse. I do hope you remember to put a bullet in his head, as I don’t want to see him showing up at my door complaining about the money he thinks I still owe him – I’m sure I paid him last year. You have my condolences, and my prayers, and I hope you come home alive, and not one of the undead – I’d hate to attend your funerals. Your friend, John Jones W.C. 95 |
