Halloween Writing Challenge Prompt 4 Autumn Poem
Prompt: Write a poem about autumn. You can't use these words: Leaves, leaf, red, orange, brown or crisp.

The month of October. Autumn is here. A walk in the woods.
Trees so pretty and squirrels gathering acorns happy as can be.
A bright sunny day but it is sixty degrees. Birds flying.
Now, it is afternoon with a soft gentle rain. I am content.

Your dog loves running around on a sunny autumn day. There goes
your pumpkins. He just knocked over. You pick them up. He runs to
the woods and chases squirrels. You go to the brook near by in
the woods and ducks are swimming and they love autumn, too.

The beauty of autumn. There may be frost on your pumpkins in
the morning. There may be rain. It may be chilly. It may be
sunny. Let's just hope it doesn't snow. I wish autumn would
last all winter. Why does autumn lead into winter?

I love seeing deer and they look at us and are curious.
They love eating the farmer's crops. They love drinking
out of brooks and streams. They know winter is coming
and they enjoy the autumn. Autumn is just so short.

I put my lawn ornaments away. I got rid of my flowers.
It is chilly. There is dew on the ground. My pumpkins
sit outside. After next month, I will part with them.
Looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. I smile.

Pretty blonde woman and her black kitties.
