“There’s Rosemary for Ray,
bundles of Thyme for Jay.
Parsley is a must.
Damiana for lust.
Cilantro’s over there,
the mint is for Clair.
But if you really want to know
what makes my garden grow,
it must be a secret between you and me
for this could get dicey as you will see.
I gave Foxglove to Dan,
for his cheating Maryann.
And daffodils to Bill.
in order to help Jill.
Oleander, oh I love that name
Isn’t it such a shame?
That something so charming,
is often used for harming.
These herbs I grow
for friend and foe.
From love and hate,
a simple twist of fate.
My beloved had it coming,
as he was out there slumming,
so, I put Wisteria with his meat
to pay him back, the lying cheat.
Now he sits there all alone
the toilet has become his throne.
He’s never guessed that it was me
poisoning his food, including his tea.
