"Even if it turns out that time travel is impossible, it is important that we understand why it is impossible."
Stephen Hawking

The "Blogging Circle of Friends Open in new Window. prompt for DAY 2002
You are thrown back into your past, but you find it totally different than what you recall. Are you happy or do you try to solve it and put your past back as it was?

If I'm thrown back into my past, I would presume I was there because I was supposed to learn something or remember something the way it actually happen. Memory is a funny thing, because it is tied to emotions we remember things that had the most emotional impact on us. The farther we get from a specific situation the more emotion colors the memory. I'm not saying that we remember them differently than the way they happened, we remember and see them through the veil of our own emotions, which has an impact on the way we remember an event.

I wouldn't attempt to change anything, because of the possibility of screwing up my future. There is, also, the possibility that I was thrown into an alternate universe, where a specific choice changed something and I'm seeing the the past from the other choice.
