Blog City image small "Prompt: "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn." Alvin Toffler
Your thoughts, please. Smile"

I think I have to agree. The way knowledge keeps multiplying itself means that what one learns today they must turn around and relearn tomorrow. Knowledge changes so fast anymore that encyclopedias are taxed to keep up. So yes I agree! Knowledge doubles an average of twice a year now. Therefore what we knew to be a fact six months ago is no longer true today. At times something we knew to be true proves itself false so we literally have to relearn the subject. The Bible predicted that toward the end of time man would become super super smart and knowledge would increase exponentially. I'd have to say that this prophecy has fulfilled itself.

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: Aretha Fanklin, the Queen of Soul. Write a tribute or about one of her songs."

I have to give my condolences for Aretha Franklin's death but I personally never listened to her. I was raised on country-western and my heroes were Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, and so forth. Aretha Franklin always made me want to smash the radio much as rap music does today. I guess there is always a market for anything and it really depends on what one was taught to appreciate as a child so Aretha had a good following.I just wasn't a fan.
