Not as Good as I Thought It Was

I did very well yesterday at work when it comes to my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Got one hundred and ten single sentences written for this project. That’s almost four times more than I did on Saturday. It should have been one hundred and thirty, though. But the last couple of hours at work got very busy.

Overall, work wasn’t a problem for me yesterday. It was a very typical Sunday. Most of my shift I didn’t have to do too much when it comes time for work. At least it didn’t until the last couple of hours. Usually, Sunday’s aren’t too busy. And this was one of those Sunday’s. So, I had plenty of time to write, and write I did. Once I started writing I couldn’t stop.

didn't get as many done as I thought for a couple of reasons. first, I keep thinking it's forty single sentences per act. But it's not. it's thirty-five now. So, if I had finished Act One like I thought that I did, I would have been off by five sentences. As a result, I miscalled that one too. That's my second reason. I didn't get thirty-five done on Saturday as I thought. it was really only thirty. Put those five with the other one hundred and five equals one hundred and ten.

Besides this blog entry, I haven’t gotten too much writing done today so far. I did get a little bit of my WDC Short Story for this month done. But not too much of it. Been busy regarding our move to our new place. It didn’t take up the whole day today. But it did take up about three-fourths of it. As a result, I haven’t had too much time for writing.

I also haven’t done any writing on The Masquerade Murder Mystery Challenge either. But that’s not my fault. The latest journal entry hadn’t come out until about fifteen minutes ago. I just checked My Favorites. And I saw that it had just come in. haven’t read it yet. but I’m going to do it after I post this blog entry. Then I’m going to write my Short Story based on that journal entry.

Don’t know if I’m going to be writing this Short Story right away, though. It all depends on what the journal entry reveals. I might have to think about that for a while before I do it. But I will get it done before I go to sleep tonight. If I don’t do it right away, I will play a game of Monopoly and Scrabble before I do that.

Which I often do. But I do that while I’m thinking of a story to write. At least I do it on my days off. During the rest of the week I can think about it on the way home from work so that when I get there, I can write my Short Story based on it. And if there are two of them, I will read the second one first. Then I will think about the second one as I write the first one.
