Skyscraper By Demi Lovato
I am writing this for the 48 Hour Media Music Challenge.

Skyscraper By Demi Lovato

What a beautiful song. She is walking in the snow and singing. Tears fall from the sky and she catches them in her hand. She has been shattered like glass and torn like paper. She rises back up like a skyscraper. A skyscraper can touch the sky and tornadoes and earthquakes can bring them down. We go through problems in life and surprise ourselves as we rise back up like a skyscraper.

Demi wears cross earrings and a cross tattoo on her hand. I would like to think she believes in God and knows God can get us through anything. I need to remind myself of that everyday.

People have tore me down and things in life,
I cry and have been torn like paper and was
shattered like glass. Illnesses have done a
number on me. I pray and vowed to rise above it.

I did rise above it. Like a skyscraper. I still
cry and have problems. I pray and look for the
positive outcome. Life isn't always kind that's
for sure. I tell myself I got this, no matter what.

This song, Like A Skyscraper puts things into
perspective and I will think of this song when
I feel down. It is a beautiful song and I will think
of myself as a skyscraper. Nothing will knock me down.

God and I got this. God will protect us and dry
my tears. Like a skyscraper, we need to stand tall
and not give into tears and not shatter like glass.
Thank you for singing this beautiful song, Demi.

I love this image by AE Wilcox. Beautiful.
