Lahm looked at her pale complexion and long white hair.
"You look like a Haloween witch. You'll frighten them."
Gairns punched Lahm in the shoulder.

Lahm shrugged, "You do remember I'm a cyborg?"
The cyborg picks up his clothing from Amos Laundrymats' washing machine.
Gairns gave a toothy smile, "Do you remember I built you and why?"

"Shouldn't we help the humans?" Lahm queried.
Gairns laughed, "They would strip us clean and make us their property."
Gairns reached through the time displacement and snatched two hot dogs from a vendor.
"I like mustard and ketchup and mustard," Lahm stated.
Gairns hugged Lahm, "I know you do. That's the way I programmed you."
