UPDATED INTRO 30 JUNE 2025:

Just a little about me. I've been married for 33 years this past NOV and currently live in Southern California, but I grew up in New Hampshire.

I've got 2 boys who are young adults.

I work as a 911 dispatcher for LAPD. I enjoy my job a lot. Still. If you can believe that.

I love to write. Thankfully both of my boys achieved Eagle Scout. My Scouting days are over and I'm back to focusing on my writing.

I like to get out in nature, drink coffee and watch football.

Here's a little bio about my zodiac.

GEMINI: Gemini, the sign of the Twins, is dual-natured, elusive, complex and contradictory. On the one hand it produces the virtue of versatility, and on the other the vices of two-facedness and flightiness. The sign is linked with Mercury, the planet of childhood and youth, and its subjects tend to have the graces and faults of the young. When they are good, they are very attractive; when they are bad they are more the worse for being the charmers they are. Like children they are lively, and happy, if circumstances are right for them, or egocentric, imaginative and restless.

Their good qualities are attractive and come easily to them. They are affectionate, courteous, kind, generous, and thoughtful towards the poor and suffering - provided none of the activities resulting from expressing these traits interferes too greatly with their own lives and comforts.

Geminians can be successful in many walks of life though their general characteristics tend to make them unreliable. They are often skilled manipulators of language, in speech and writing, and may be: debaters, diplomats (though in politics they are more interested in theory than practice), orators, preachers (brilliant rather than profound), teachers, authors, poets, journalists, or lawyers.

Well Halloween has come and gone here in Southern California and I had to work last night. I was kind of blase, about dressing up. I mean, the past couple of years I put some effort into my costumes and no one gets it. I was a zombie, a steampunk aviator, and Ally Sheedy's character from the Breakfast Club. I've been a donut, a whoopie cushion and Spongebob. So this year I decided to recycle my constume. I had this costume made in 2014 for Halloween. I thought I'd keep it simple and be an Ipad. Well, it was the only year it worked - I won 3rd place that year in the contest. So instead of fussing out what I was going to be I just recycled my costume 11 year later.

Guess what? I won 3rd place again! I won't complain.

And the best part? Practically NO ONE at work remembered the first time I wore it 11 years ago! That's how much personnel have changed over. I'm not complaining. I'll take 3rd place and be happy. *BigSmile*

There's always a lot for me to do on the first of the month and it's hard because I have limited time. I'm hoping for some down time at work to really catch up tonight. We'll see. I didn't have much time yesterday. I was working as a supervisor and the radio was OFF THE HOOK. All kinds of crazy parties with 1000 ppl plus ACTING STUPID. Then we had La Cresenta LASD ask us for some assistance with a cemetery on the border between us and them. Seems a male and female went to the cemetery and I don't know HOW but the dude was shot D-E-A-D in the chest. Self inflicted? She did it? Or some gruesome satanic ritual? Don't know. Don't know if I wanna know.

Anyhoo - while I was at work, Hubby was passing out candy. He reported maybe 10 kids came to visit. Kind of a bummer, but I suspect all the kids who were kids Andy's age have moved on and the neighborhood is a bit "older."

- November's our big prize month so I gotta take my time and make sure I get it right.

Need to do my reviews for the Angel Army and Bee Hive, and I've made it my goal to spice up the Angel Lounge a little bit. Ambitious I know considering.
