This is my first attempt to be a blogger. I hope to type a few items that you will enjoy. |
I do not know where to begin with this description. The time period is from 0 to now. Please don't ask how long that is. I am sure with certain clues, you will be able to figure that out. I am writing this on my favorite old computer at home. I have a computer room that doubles as a retreat for a few of my pets when they want to be alone. I will cover mostly current thoughts. I hope to add some pictures as I have seen in a blog. I think that to do this sharing will take a lot of work, but the pictures I have seen are well worth it. Occasionally, I might review a flashback in mylife. I have times when I just roll that special even around in my mind until it has every possible facet examined. Usually this time is to try to figure out a "what if" scenario. If some of my items have no zest to it feel free to say so. I think that after I have some a few trial runs, then the real me will be out for all of the world to see. Luck you! As the saying goes, "Come with me and the best is yet to be." |
Disney has always been a creative force in entertainment. If you ever saw Walt Disney's little mouse, Mickey as Steamboat Willie, and then the cartoons of today, you will notice tha reason why children tuned in to watch his shows for many years. I used to watch the show on TV with kids who were Mouse-cateers who sang and acted (I think) in short stories. Some of the children are grown and unfortunately, gone. Annette was special. The topic of the Disney World being good for the community it is in has pros and cons that are logical and worthy of consideration when people and their families plan their next vacation. Pro: The wonderland does help the economy of that community by the visitors, not to mention the hotels stayed in during the trip. The people going have fun. They forget troubles for a short time. The place is wide open so the family walks which is good exercise The place gives the kids examples of kinds of summertime jobs they could try to work in. You could make friends from other states and countries. Cons: It does cost money which means that the family has to budget or spend enough money to go there. One could get injured on a ride. One could have things stolen from their hotel or purses. One could eat badly prepared food. and get food poisoning. The place could be closed down due to bad weather, or mechanical problems. A small child could get lost. Their hotel is lousy, dirty or completely full. No rooms and your reservation never got placed. Wow! that could be a major headache. But what to do? I hope you are good at solving problems. I myself do not like uncertainty. I do need a break sometimes. But overall, as Dorothy said in the Wizard of OZ, "There's no place like home." I'll stay at home. Sleep late, Read a good book or watch Goldie oldie! Visit relatives. And save my money for something I really want. How about you? |
