| Have you ever lost a day? Maybe due to illness. You didn't get anything done. You neglected to do something. It snowed and you couldn't leave the house. I lost 6 days. I had a bowel obstruction and went on for surgery. I was in an induced coma and woke up 6 days later! Like what? I asked the Nurse what Princess Kate had. A boy or a girl? She said a boy. Where have you been? In a coma. The nurse apologized. I had to learn to walk again. I forgot my son was there and my mother was there. Six days of my life I will never forget. I went forward. At least I wasn't in a coma for a year or something. I guess 6 days wouldn't have made me a millionaire or a celebrity. I thank God I got to come back. I live each day as it comes. Don't take each day for granted. Trust me. We can't get the time back. Just be happy and thankful. Don't squander time. Pray to God. |
| Prompt:Joy asked us who our favorite fictional witches are. Mine are all on TV. I love Angelique on Dark Shadows. She loved Barnabas, the vampire and she put a curse on him to be a vampire. He didn't love her. Angelique was entertaining and you enjoyed her antics. You wanted Barnabas to love her. She was feisty and evil but I say she was misunderstood. I enjoyed her story lines. Angelique didn't back down to anyone. She came back from the dead more than once. She was a force to be reckoned with Barnabas did love her finally but she died from a gunshot wound. She died as he was telling her.In another parallel time episode, Barnabas and Angelique were Catherine and Bronwell and they fell in love. Lara Parker was beautiful and I adored her. I have autographed pictures of her that I sent for and I had a connection to her so to speak. Other witches I liked. Sabrina in the late 1990 series, Sabrina, The Teenaged Witch. I liked her aunts and Salem the black cat who has been a warlock.I enjoy comedy witches. I loved Samantha from Bewitched. Tabitha and Endora were funny and cute. I also love the witches from Practical Magic. These are witches that care about others. Adian Quinn and Sandra Bullock were phenomenal. So, Halloween is a time for witches. Works for me. |
| Starting another week. I have two Doctors Appointments. I am not feeling my best. I hope for a good week. We are going to get autumn weather this week. We are getting rain. I wish I had exciting news. Life. Somedays are better then others |
| The Weekend. I am watching a commercial about Michael's with dogs wearing crochet sweaters that match. How sweet. My light is lit up in my outdoor swirling, lavender flowers display. It is so pretty at night. I guess the war in the Middle East is over. We do need comforting news. No special plans this weekend. I hope to go to Church. The Lord be with us all. |
| Snoopy and Woodstock. They are the best part of Charlie Brown. A cute, black and white beagle and his yellow bird Woodstock. Snoopy lying on his doghouse. So cute. Woodstock for company. Snoopy dancing when the one kid plays the piano. I have a small Snoopy and Woodstock phone Christmas ornament. I have a Snoopy head in a big, plush pumpkin. Snoopy head comes out of the pumpkin. So cute. I have other Snoopy stuffed toys. I just love Snoopy. I wish Snoopy was my dog. I love watching his antics. Snoopy made Charlie Brown. A cute, sweet dog. He and Woodstock are entertaining. | Autumn. October 2.85 Degrees. It is going to cool off next week. Government Shutdown. Really? What do they hope to accomplish? Is this anyway to start autumn? Goblins in the White House and things that go bump in the night. I hope things work out. I am watching some Halloween things. Night Of Dark Shadows. I do enjoy watching seasonal shows. Hopefully, autumn will get better. I enjoy autumn. How about you? |

I used to order a big white rose corsage with two small red roses for my mother every year for Mothers Day. I went every year to pick it up at tge flower shop. They had a ceramic Garfield on the shelf with other items. It sat there. I love Garfield. I would look at it every year but didn't buy it. For six years, it sat. I told my husband if the Garfield item hasn't been sold this year, I am going to buy it. Sure enough, Garfield was still there. I bought it. The sales lady was glad it was getting sold. I felt sorry for it. It is now sitting on a shelf next to my ceramic snowman cookie jar. Garfield probably wishes the Snowman had cookies in it. I secretly wanted Garfield for years. I feel sorry for Garfield. I read his comic everyday. I have a stuffed Garfield, too. He is dressed like Uncle Sam. Garfield holds a place in my heart. |
| Where are you autumn? Why can't find you? It is 85 Degrees. No rain. The leaves haven't changed colors. It feels like summer still. I wait patiently. We do need autumn. I love autumn. I wish autumn was winter. It will happen abdomen then it will be cold. Be careful what you wish for. How is autumn your way? |
