| The blizzard arrived. We have snow drifts and we are getting snow then lake effect snow. It is cold. This will go on until 6:00 PM Sunday. Our lights tried to go out. Am I having fun, yet? Still eating turkey sandwiches. Kitty loves turkey.
I wrote this for a wintry contest. Christmas theme and wolf. I watched A Very Brady Christmas. I was a teen with The Brady Bunch. If we make it through December, things will be alright I know. Merle Haggard's song. Thank you, Merle. |
| We have a bad snow storm coming in. Maybe 12 inches of snow and wind. We have a generator and plenty of food. It is going to be a long weekend. I didn't go Black Friday shopping. I have bought enough stuff the last few months. I will let you know how I make it through the snow storm. |
| Another Thanksgiving. My husband and I made it through another Thanksgiving . I goofed on the mashed potatoes. The dinner was good. We watched Macy's Parade and The Dog Show. We are having a blizzard this weekend. Saturday and Sunday. Tge wind has been blowing. Welcome to Winter. I have been watching Christmas shows. I hope Winter goes well. |
| Prompt: What are your Thanksgiving plans? My husband and I are making a turkey dinner. He makes the turkey and I make the rest of the meal. My cat loves turkey. She gets turkey for dinner as well. I made a chocolate cake. We were invited to my cousin's house but my husband and I enjoy doing our own dinner. We will be watching Macy's Parade and The Dog Show. I enjoy the parade. I love to see what dog will win. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! |
| I talked to my son on the phone. He lives in Oregon. I don't get to talk to him much. A year ago, my mother was in Oregon and had Thanksgiving with him. A year later, she is gone. We shared good memories about her. We need to treasure the good times. Hoping for a good Thanksgiving. I got a chocolate cake baked. My cousin invited me over for Thanksgiving but my husband and I have plans. I do love my cousin and we text each other 2 hours today. Wednesday. I am hoping for a good day. Blessings to anyone who reads this. |
| We should always be thankful they say. I lost my mother this year. I had a small bowel obstruction. I am fighting a UTI. I pray all the time. I remind myself God got me through all this and will again. I pray for everyone. I am thankful for the problems I don't have. I am thankful I don't have a job to worry about anymore. I would be calling in a lot. I am thankful I still have my husband, cat, friends, family and a cousin I can call anytime. Thanksgiving, I am reminded of all these things. Be thankful for all the good things in life and hopefully, life will be good for you. |

| It was 30 some degrees today. Winter is here. I read Devotions. I cleaned the kitchen. I try to think of everyday as a blessing. When I have bad days, it isn't easy to feel blessed. We pray and go forward. I hope you do to. |

| Pictures. I love pictures. I am like Rose of Titanic. She traveled with her pictures when she went to stay on a ship that was hunting for Titanic treasures. What pirates! I loved all of Rose pictures. I look at the ones on my entertainment center. Mine and my husband's wedding pictures. My parents wedding picture. My husband's mother's picture. My husband's parents wedding picture. One of me and my sister. One of my husband and I at his company Christmas Party. I have one of Jesus, the last supper and one of Queen Elizabeth. I have pictures of my parents. I have some of my son and his wife. I do love my pictures. I have all Mom's pictures she had of me, family, friends and places we lived when Dad was in the Air Force . I promise I will scrapbook them. I used to love scrapbooking. I even have a Scrapbooking Degree. I have albums of pictures of Christmas, family, friends, pets, friends pets, Lake Michigan,Florida, Frankenmuth, Michigan,my sister, ones of Johnny Depp my son took when he saw him in person. Now, I have pictures on my phone. My kitty Bella, I made an album of. I got Grand Champion and Champion on some of my albums at the fair. Like I said, I love pictures. I hope to scrapbook Mom's pictures. I miss Mom. She did scrapbooking with me at times. Pictures. They tell stories and bring back memories. I do treasure them. |
