Enjoy yourself TJ, you both deserve it. Enjoy the shopping spree! I would love to go on a hike, unfortunately my other half doesn't have the same idea. My big thing for today will be making dinner. The main course will be BBQ Ribs. Cole Slaw, maybe Brocolli. We'll see how it goes. No BBQ sauce until they are done. She would prefer traditional BBQ, like Sweet Baby Rays. I have some New Mexico BBQ sauce, I'm just not sure if it's Red Chile, or Green. I guess I'll find out.
Sometimes, you just need some of that Old Time Rock n Roll. I love the Alf version of this song. I once found this video uploaded by someone in Germany! It was odd hearing Willie and Kate speaking German. When Alf was on the air (Back in those 'old' days), I'd change the channel from Monday Night Football just to watch the new episode. Yeah, I really loved Alf.
There's always the first time. My family first ventured forth to camp on a long May weekend. Picture Northern Ontario, Canada. The snow had finally disappeared for good and the biting insects had returned. The six of us and two German Shepherds settled into our new tent for the first night. In the wee hours, one dog managed to annoy a skunk during his potty break. We awoke to snow blanketing our tent and everything. Rolling in that fresh white powder did not relieve the pungent skunk aroma. We too continued to camp into the future. Happy Camping!
