This will be a blog for my writing, maybe with (too much) personal thrown in. I am hoping it will be a little more interactive, with me answering questions, helping out and whatnot. It follows on from the old one, which is now fullf.
To answer your question, Kåre เลียม Enga, I have not. Also, the phrasing "the antidote" suggests there is one true way to remedy conspiracy theory thinking when that's not the case. Likewise, even our understanding of conspiracy theories is shifting to some degree. Feeling special is still a part of the appeal, but there is a growing community element to it (see QAnon as an example: https://youtu.be/-3ol1aUN_Go?si=zG-kfUOD6bMpDbYi). The notion of being part of a "special group" is starting to more equally both words in that phrase.
Kåre เลียม Enga - Belief Perseverance is a tough thing to overcome. The harder you try to tell someone their beliefs are wrong, the more they double down because they see it as a personal attack. This is why those who try to deprogramme cult members only have a low success rate. The only way to counter conspiracy theories is to allow the person to understand that the conspiracies are not correct for themselves, and this does involve some removal and some "nudging" in a direction that is seen as "better."
I love that he generates ideas, too, Kåre เลียม Enga! Too bad I never do anything with them. lol
Also, too bad I can't get my act together and even turn in papers on time for class. The last one was 16 days late. This one is now 8 days late. HOW am I going to get my PhD at this rate?!? It seems to just be getting worse! Well, I am taking 4 classes when they recommend 1-2 and I've been sick in one form or another for pretty much a month now, but not so deathly ill I couldn't work...obviously, since I am turning things in late.
Anyway, back to him and his blog, super fun things here!
Funny, before clicking over, I was thinking factories should be on the list. I feel smart! lol
Oh, in the mall, you could merge one of your monsters with a mall pet store and have some fun when it gets loose. Okay, not as creative as a hungry escalator which, TBH, I would have thought would never sell as a story, but obviously, I was wrong. Hahaha! Congratulations!
Naturally, one of your monsters could also be at the beach. lol
I thought The Faculty was a pretty good horror movie set in a school, all things considered. But IDK if it was set enough in the school for it to count for you. I don't recall it well enough.
