A description of the library that holds every world ever imagined through inside books |
[Introduction]
Before you read the story of a fallen girl who found herself in the Narrostium, you must first understand what the Narrostium is. This place, more commonly known as ‘the library’ by its inhabitants, is an endless labyrinth of books. Each book in this Labyrinth is a portal to the world in which its story exists. Each book can be opened and jumped in to find a parallel universe which carries, Hogwarts, Wonderland or a zombie apocalypse. Each story in these books that are stacked meters high on the different levels and rooms of the labyrinth is unique. What are these stories, you ask? They are every story. Every story, shared or not, that has had some kind of meaning to someone finds a place in these walls. Every book, movie or series has its own world between a few of these pages. All the fanfictions and fantasies based on those popular books, movies and series, they’re there. Crappy ghost stories told by campfires and at sleepovers. Our hopes, dreams, lucid dreams, daydreams, nightmares and greatest fears. The arguments we imagine having, the secrets we imagine telling. Stories that were shared, screened or published and stories that ever left the author’s mind. Every story with its own world is in the Narrostium. And there are people there too, three types of people. There are the characters that ran away, discovering other stories in other worlds. The imaginary friends of little kids and sociopaths who have an existence but not quite their own world. And the third type, the fallen, but more on that later. These curious people wonder the aisles, halls and staircases between these walls. Truly everything is the Narrostium. Every story, every world, every person. Everything. Everything except what you consider reality.
