Here is a small exercise for you. Try to imagine your personal mass, actually to be more exact, visualize the mass of the thinking part of your brain. Basically the cerebral cortex which probably has a mass of one pound (I;m actually guessing). Now compare that to the combined mass of the entire universe. Your mass virtually ceases to exist. To provide a visual picture, now imagine a sub-sub-sub-sub atomic particle of a grain of sand compared to the whole planet earth. Now give that particle the ability to have an understanding of our whole galaxy (billions of star and planets). Of course it is impossible, just like it is impossible for us to have an understanding of the universe. Yet we do, we recognize laws of physics and we see how it controls the universe as we know it. Just to hold the concept of the universe, eternity, should be beyond our capabilities. I feel there must be a common thread of consciousness that binds existence together. Might that not be considered God.
