Greets, You might be best served by using the "Email Comments" option on your pieces -- this is found under the Rating / Reviewing Preference options of an item. This setting blocks all anonymous reviews, eliminates ratings completely (anonymous or otherwise) and send you just feedback from readers via email. As for anonymous reviews, one person who had reviewed you anonymously today was "jessiej89" who was found to be cheating the review system. Their account has been terminated and we're in the process of refunding all those who they reviewed and cheated the system with. If this is the person you tried to replied to, the reply failed simply because the member's account has already been terminated. Being out of the office for the day, I was not able to get the refund process done -- but did want to terminate the cheater's account as quickly as possible. If that's NOT the case you're referring to.... I checked for members blocking your account and at this moment, I don't see any. Remember, also, that you CAN respond to any review, anonymous or otherwise, using the review reply box located just underneath the review in email. In general, though, as far as someone blocking you after they send a response, unfortunately there would be no means to prevent someone from sending a comment to you and then blocking you from sending them a reply. The only way to avoid that type of thing is to limit the types of materials you post... IE, if you're posting political items that can lead to the type of emotional and "fanatical response" you received... well, the only way to prevent that would be to not post political items. Most writers do write to evoke a response, so in that vein, your writing obviously succeeded. If that's not what you're looking for, you might consider keeping more fictional and creative writing on WDC... and then posting political stuff somewhere that it might be more appropriate and/or welcomed amongst those of a similar ideal to yours. WDC is made up of thousands and thousands of members with all kinds of opinions and beliefs, so posting things that can be "hot topics", like politics and religion are likely going to get you a wide range of responses. We really can't prevent people from sharing their opinions when the piece solicits opinions via the "review" field. Hope this helps! ~~SM
